Look for the lowest jobless rate city, some other factor would be look for the community schools if you have family with kids, look for the jobs you are interested in are available in that area, weather, look for the crime rate, reasonable housing prices etc. Combine all these factors and then make a move, you may have to give up something to get something else but go for whatever more worth to you.
