My situation in a nutshell:

I have been waiting in the EE pool since March 2015 with a score of 444 points. I'm applying thru CEC and currently am here working on a PGWP which expires in Feb 2016. With only ~4 months left on my work permit I'm getting really anxious about what I should do. As far as i understand my options are to:

1. keep waiting in the pool and hope the CRS score for ITAs drops
2. Re-submit my EE profile and try to get an OINP (does anyone know if they are still issuing these for this year?)
3. Start all over with the PR process using the spousal sponsorship route (I have a Canadian common law partner)

From what I've been reading the OINP seems like it could be a good option since it would pretty much guarantee me an ITA, but the processing time is 3-4 months which is when my PGWP will expire.. so I would need to apply for a visitors permit which then would mean that I wouldn't qualify for CEC anymore? (is this true?) also $1500 is also a lot of money for me to spend in addition to the PR application..

Ive been trying to avoid going the spousal route because the common law one seems pretty difficult to get, and the one for married couples means we would have to get married and have an actual wedding which we arnt crazy about doing (but we will if we have to of course).

Do I have any other options? Getting an LMIA seems pretty out of the question with my current job, and all the jobs that job bank is suggesting dont really seem like good options either (in addition to the fact that I really love my current job).

Any advice would be soo great, this whole thing is really starting to weigh heavy on my shoulders..

There's nothing that difficult about common law provided you have been living together for at least a year and can prove it (and have other evidence to show your relationship is real). There is no need to get married if you don't want to. Tons of people are successful at sponsoring common law partners. It's a very common situation on this forum. This route is also typically cheaper than express entry since you don't have to take IELTS or get your education officially assessed. However I assume you've done both of those things in preparation for Express Entry so I guess that money is spent.

Being a visitor in Canada does not make you ineligible for CEC (not sure why you think it does). You can continue with your CEC application with visitor status.

No, there is no requirement that you remain employed (or in Canada) for the CEC program.

However, you would become ineligible for a BOWP if your work permit expires before you can apply.

Is asking your boss to apply for an LMIA out of the question?

Hi there,

I need some desperate advice too.

First off I just tried creating my EE profile and I got it ineligible twice and I have no clue why.

Here is some background about me.

I am in Canada for the last 2 years with 1 year of work experience with skill A and no LMIA. Did a 1 year program here and then have been working for 1 year, just completed. IELTS scores: Reading:7, Listening:8,Writing:7 and Speaking:7. ECA done for my Bachelors in India.
I have 5 years of work experience back home, but the employment letters I have are not in the way CIC would want it. I am trying to arrange it but I doubt my previous employers will give it in the way CIC wants it.

Now my question:
1. I am eligible for both CIC and FSW. Can I however skip entering my non Canadian work experience to avoid getting an ITA under FSW or should I do it?
2. I am not sure what my CEC score would be without entering previous work history
3. Just an hour back I created my EE profile and twice and both times I got ineligible profile message. I didn't get any score nor does it take me to the job back.

I have no clue what is happening. I really need some help and suggestions.
