I would be grateful for any advise on the following.

Came to Canada on 12 month working holiday visa in Dec 2008 (WHV expired Dec 2009)
Loved Canada and decided to try and stay on.
Common law partner got a positive LMO from CIC/His employer
CIC issued a 12 month work permit for my partner (and also a WP for me due to common law status) in Nov 2009 (set to expire Nov 2010)

The plan was for us to apply for PR together and build a life in Canada for ourselves.

However my partner now feels that the relationship is on its last legs. I'm heartbroken. He wants to end things, move out and apply for PR by himself. I know that once we are no longer in a relationship and living together my WP will be void as it was issued under our common law status.Which means i can't stay here and continue to work etc.

I work in administraion. My dept managers want to keep me as an employee but the company won't proceed with an LMO due to HR policies(won't sponsor or assist re PR applications or LMO).I have approx 14 months Canadian work experience to date so not enough for CEC. I have my A levels but didn't finish my uni course so i wouldn't score as many points if i wanted to apply to immigrate by myself.

Do I have any options to continue living and working in Canada?
I feel like my whole world has collapsed in a matter of a week :'(

Do you know for a fact that your work permit is void if you are not together any more? Surely it was initially issued based on his permit and your relationship but now that it's already issued, maybe it will stay valid until it expires. You should call CIC and ask them about that.

Another option and you don't say where you are from but there are different WHV programs available in different countries. For some of them, you may not be able to renew the thing but you may be able to apply again for the same program. For others, you may not be able to apply again for the same program but instead you may be able to apply for a similar program. Look into that.

One more option, try to find another job that will help you with an LMO or AEO so you can apply for your PR. Even though you may not be able to apply under the skilled worker program, if you can't get an LMO, it may be possible for you to apply under a PNP with and AEO, depends on your province though.
