Hi Friends,

In my Employment Reference Letter for a previous company, my designation is mentioned as Programming SME. However, when I left the company , the designation was called Subject Matter Expert for which I also have a relieving letter from the company. I used Subject Matter Expert to create the EE profile.

Now since the company has changed the names of the roles, they cannot issue Employment Reference Letter with the past names and gave me a letter with Programming SME (SME stands for Subject Matter Expert)

Not sure what should I do about this?

It's quite common for a company to rename positions, create new titles, etc. It's not a big deal unless your job description does not match the NOC you claim.
