Designated Learning institution number ?

Hi
I am exhausted to find Designated Learning institution number section in the application form. . CIC mentioned in his website as
"Starting June 16, 2014, applicants and study permit holders must indicate the Designated Learning Institution (DLI) number on the updated application forms. Previous versions of the study permit application will still be accepted, but only until July 15, 2014."

Can any one tell me ? where can I put this info in my Application ? kindly tell me the Application name, page and nearby mark. so that i can dinfd easily. Interesting is that they haven't updated their form they are same as previous ones.

Did you start filing the application for a study permit made outside of canada (IMM 1294)? It clearly shows fields for the DLI# and Student ID# under the Details of intended study in canada

But they (cic) haven't given DLI number to my university. What should i put in this field ?

No idea in that case. Contact the university for this issue. Ask them if they have the number. It might be that they have it and CIC didn't update it yet on the website.

universities or other educational institutes without DLI number cannot be used to get study permit, it will be refused.

DLI is must. Are u sure your uni doesn't have one?? mentioning name of the uni will be helpful to you as someone else might know the DLI if you were unable to find it.

Thanks meagan99 for your reply ...My university is memorial univerity of Newfoundland and there is no DLI number in CIC website.. .. it is the where i am searching for that .. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp

canadians are still updating the DLI list, so best thing to do will be asking your university for their DLI number, check your uni's website also.
