Dependent Visa

Hi
I am on dependent Visa and my husband is on work permit in Canada.My Visa expiration still has 9 years but my husband's visa and work permit is expiring soon.
So in this case do I have to apply for visitors visa once again to restore the status along with my husband?

You know that while your visa itself may not expire for nine years you were probably only admitted to Canada for six months?

There is no such thing as a dependent visa. You either have a spousal work permit or a tourist visa.
