Dependent not wanting to accompany

I have been approved by the CIO in Sydney about 2 years back and am awaiting the visa from UK where I have sent my papers. In the interim there is a possibility that my wife may not want to immigrate. However my daughter who is currently 19 and studying in a canadian university and my son who is 15 intend to migrate. What steps do I need to take to deal with this situation? Will it affect my chances of getting the visa? . Also my category is 4131. I read somewhere in the forum that 4131's are being rejected without much basis. Is it true?

Many thanks for your replies

Particularly if your wife secured extra points in your application for adaptation having bachelor degree or higher excluding her now may jeopardize the whole process.
I would recommend not to worry and just go ahead, wait for positive decision - visas. Talk to your wife to give a chance to have a look at Canada. If she does not like it, then she could return anytime (immediately or later).

If ur wife won't accompany your total process will go ruined..but don't worry..get ur visa 1st and go to canada 1st than u will find many ways... in the meantime ur wife may change the decision. good luck. ;D
