Me and my wife both are Canadian citizens residing in Gulf for a good number of years. Can my wife who is a house wife sponsor our son (17 years old) for immigration as he intends to enter the university next year. At this stage, I do not prefer to leave the job. Please advise on:
1) Do both parents need to show intent to move to Canada or only one parent's (wife) intent in the instant is sufficient.
2) She is a house wife and currently does not have any income to show in the application nor have plans to work there as I will remain the bread earner. Does the required undertaking from a sponsor (wife) who does not have any income, acceptable?
3) Is the concept of "co signer" applicable here? If yes, then the co-signer (if it is me) has to accompany the child also? Else, I will have to sponsor the child and then I may have to leave the job at the time of issuance of visa?
4) By the way my elder son, who is a Canadian citizen is currently studying in a University in Canada.
Input will be highly appreciated.
Regards
