one scenario

if a child was born in Canada and the child belongs to the applicant and sponsor, does the child categorize as applicants dependent? For example, sponsor is carrying applicants child and application refused?
What if applicant needs to re-apply again and does the child be his/her dependent child?

just a scenario, any comments?

The child is not listed as dependant because it's not being sponsored. If it's born in Canada, it's already a citizen and does not need to be sponsored.

I am pregnant and going to start sponsor my husband from Asia. My mother is the first one who immigrated here and she sponsored me as dependent child when i was under 18. I am a Canadian citizen. My husband's application has not been sent yet.

Would my baby be the first generation? What if I born outside Canada?

I been reading few posts you have posted and I understood that if my baby is first generation he can apply for citizenship certification and I still need to put him as our dependent child in my husband's application. If so then me and my husband should delay sponsorship application till our baby is born outside Canada. I know that if he is born here in Canada I don't need to put my baby as dependent child because my baby is already a citizen by birth.

I will be living outside Canada for about a year and have supporting documents to show that i proof to come back in Canada. I really cant decide whether I go before my birth ( give birth outside Canada ) or after ( give birth inside Canada ). Please help me! What should I do? Should I wait till my baby is born or Should I go as soon as possible?

You are a naturalized Canadian citizen, so your child will be a Canadian citizen whether born in or out of the country. Your child will not have to be sponsored. I am also a naturalized citizen and was in a similar situation with one of my children. She was born outside of Canada. I just had to apply for a citizenship certificate for her and did not have to sponsor her.

"Citizenship by birth outside Canada to a Canadian parent (citizenship by descent) is now limited to the first generation born outside Canada

This means that, in general, children born outside Canada to a parent who was a Canadian citizen at the time of the child's birth will only be Canadian at birth if:
- the parent was born in Canada, or
- the parent became a Canadian citizen by being granted citizenship, also known as naturalization, (except for a grant of citizenship for adopted persons under section 5.1 of the Citizenship Act )."

My son was Canadian by birth and he was born during the process. He's not listed on my CoPR as a dependent.
