Dependent Child of PR Parents

Hi All,

I know this thread has been discussed before and I did search across the forums. However, in all the scenarios (I think!), one of the parent is working in Canada and another one is in a different country with the child.

In my case, the scenario is that both the parents are in India right now with the child. We will be moving to Canada permanently in August 2020 and want to take the child along with us. What is the probability that the child's TRV will be approved? What do I do to improve the chances of TRV getting approved? The child in question is a one year old and we received the PR in 2018. Note that we do have another child who already has the PR.

Please advice.

Thanks.

No one can give you probabilities and there really is nothing you can do to improve the chances, as it is obvious in this situation that the child is not a genuine visitor. All you can do is apply. Given the current pandemic delays, it is very possible that even if you apply now, you won't have an answer to the app by August.
