Dependent Child and Co Signer

Hello all,

My husband is a permanent resident of Canada and I am a Canadian Citizen, he is sponsoring his minor son to come to Canada and it asks for co signer if we are using one which would be myself, but do we really need one? How much income is necessary to sponsor a child? Thank-you

there is no income requirement to sponsor a child.

I don't believe there can be co-signers for children sponsorships. i believe that is specific to parent/grandparent sponsorships. others will confirm.
