My restoration of visitor visa was refused and I was sent a letter saying this by CIC dated 23 August this year, they also said I need to leave Canada immediately in this letter.
I wasn't able to go to the post office for a while for various reasons and only picked up this letter on 16 October 2013.
There was also a notice that there was a package dated 17 September. This was returned on the 2nd October but I couldn't find out what it was, other than it was Express Post within Canada.
I haven't received an IMM 5238 at all and not clear on what a Departure Order actually is, if it was the letter refusing my restoration of visa or is it a separate form?
What I want to know is, do they send you a Departure Order form by mail and could this have possibly been the package I would have received and missed?
Any advice on what to do next?
Do I call CIC and ask them to resend? And is there a way I can speak to the Vegreville office at all?
Will my 30 days have expired anyway even though I never received the form?
Please could you advise me.
Thank you
