Hello, in 1999 my father was deported from Canada my mother was issued a departure notice but she could not leave on time so we know that it turned into a deportation order. She did leave in 1999 but not within the 30 day time limit. In 1999 I was 12, my mother says she doesn't remember seeing my name on the departure notice so she's not sure if I was issued one also. My question is does Canada issue departure notice to minors? I am a America Citizen and would like to return to Canada for a wedding. I not sure if I would be turned away at the airport. Please advise any help will be well appreciated.
