Denied LMIA

My work permit expired January 20 2015. I submitted my AINP application under Employer Driven semi skilled on December 16 2013. My representative applied my work permit extension Jan 12 2015 thru paper application. Just now my LMIA application was denied. I want to re apply LMIA but in a skilled position. Does my AINP application on process (SEmi skilled- Food counter Attendant) affect my application if I get a positive LMIA for skilled position? comment pls Hill
