Hello. I am posting for a friend. She applied fsw last mid june. Waited. Was charged via credit card for application fee. We assumed it was a good news but unfortunately she was denied due to lack of points. She only have 66/100(passing would be 67/100)

My question is

1. Why is she charged if it was not approved?
2. Language proficiency was only 18/28 when infact she scored 6.5 in ielts. No french.
3. O adaptability. This i understand because she has no relative but the fact she had a proof of fund with a net worth of about 12,000 cad. Why is it in the application if it does not have bearing in the application

Pls advised. We're confused.

What else can we do?

Can she appeal?
How?

Can you elaborate a reason for denial ? On what factor She did not get points as per her calculations?

You can order CAIPS Notes here: http://caipsnotes.com/

These will explain clearly the CIC notes on your friend's application. Although it may take up to a month for you to get them, she will have the first-hand and most reliable information on her case.

Having proof of funds doesn't give you adaptability points. Is there another reason why you think she should have gotten adaptability points?

For us to tell you if her language points were correctly calculated, you'll need to tell us what she scored in all 4 IELTS categories.

There is no point appealing unless CIC incorrectly calculated her points. If she did in fact have only 66 points, she was correctly refused and will lose the appeal.

1. Charging takes place after completeness check. Eligibility check occurs afterwards. So although rare, if application is found to be not elgible due to lack of points or other issues even though they were complete, it will be rejected after charge.
2. From what you have said, it seems like you looked at the overall IELTS score. You should have looked at individual scores for each category and then calculated the point for IELTS. This might have caused the IELTS points to be less that you assummed.
3. You should read the FSW guideline and make sure you/your friend understand the rules. Proof of funds is required because it is a way for CIC to ensure that immigrants will be able to start of well in Canada. That's why it is there although it doesn't award any points. There is no arguing here.

Also, the rejection should have clearly stated the exact problem with the application. There could be other reasons (like work experience not accepted) for rejection. If the problem is mitigated, your friend can apply again if the NOC has not been capped.

Hi,

My DD got debited already and waiting for PER but I have a doubt on one of the experience letter I have submitted has no information on job descriptions. I have more than four years of experience in the reputed hospital in my country in two different time intervals. I have worked from 2007-2009 and from 2012 to till date as a nurse in the emergency department of the same hospital. However,I have submitted everything to support my latest employment status in the required format ( 20012 to till date) and also submitted proof of previous employment in the same hospital i.e from 2007-2009 but missed job descriptions on it. What I thought , CIC will evaluate my JD's by merging two reference letters for both employment stages since both of my tenures was carried out in the emergency department of the same hospital.By profession ,I am staff nurse under 3012. At present,I started worrying coz I am not getting PER as many applicants after my time line have already received PER.Most importantly,my points is just 67 ,if my experience is not considered for four yrs. I will be failed.
What do you guys think the possibility of getting through?

Your response will be appreciated.
