Hello, my husband was recently denied a visa for a green card for the United states due to rentry after deportation from 13 years. He was given a 10 year ban. He would like to apply for a canadian work visa. Will his denial in the U.S affect his chance for a canadian work visa? He has no criminal history in the united states.

He will need to declare it, and then have significant amounts of proof that he will not overstay to the point of needing to be deported from Canada.
Add to that, it's difficult for non-Canadian spouses of people resident in Canada to get any kind of visa, unless you apply for a spousal open work permit from outside Canada (if you are on a work or study permit) or PR (if you are a citizen or PR)
