Is it required to demonstrate Financial Capacity on the Family Class Sponsorship for Spouse and Dependent children under the age of 12.

Hello,

For spousal sponsorship there is no minimum.
But if kids are involved you need to be in the minimum earning range per: Guide IMM 5482 – Instruction to fill the Financial Evaluation form (IMM 1283).

There is no minimum income needed to sponsor a spouse and child. You need to show CIC how you will support yourselves in Canada.

For spousal sponsorship there is no minimum.

This is wrong. IMM1283 is NOT REQUIRED when a child is included in the app. It is only required when the applicant has a dependent child with a dependent child of their own, i.e. a grandchild.
