My best girl friend 's visa extension was refused and asked to leave Canada immediately, the refusal letter was issue on July 12 2013 and her old visa was expired; AFAIK there was no departure order issued, She has no intention to stay in Canada anymore at the moment and is preparing to leave Canada but wondering how long she can stay to prepare for the leave. (like selling vehicle, terminating house lease contract, selling other stuff as well).
How many days does she still have before she is considered "overstay"? I heard 30 days is the key, is that true? the refusal letter was issue on July 12 2013, also she got the letter on July 19, 2013, if that makes a difference.
