Delete Federal Express Entry profile to apply in Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand?

Will really appreciate some clarity between Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand (SOiD) and Saskatchewan Express Entry (SEE).

I do understand that Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand allows applicants who do not have a Federal Express Entry profile.

However, both the above seem to allow to apply in the same (in demand) NOCs only.
  1. Since the NOCs in both programs are the same, do they consider the applicants in Saskatchewan Express Entry before they open Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand ?
  2. Does/Will Saskatchewan Express Entry open before Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand ?
  3. Does it make sense to delete the Federal Express Entry profile, and apply under the Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand if SOiD opens earlier ?
Kindly advise, thank you

  1. Since the NOCs in both programs are the same, do they consider the applicants in Saskatchewan Express Entry before they open Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand ? Its hard to say that is true. They open these streams independent of each other.
  2. Does/Will Saskatchewan Express Entry open before Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand ? Same as response to #1. As long as you qualify for both these streams, I would suggest you get your application ready in the system so when it opens all you do is submit.
  3. Does it make sense to delete the Federal Express Entry profile, and apply under the Saskatchewan Occupations in Demand if SOiD opens earlier ? Dont ever delete your EE profile. You can apply for OID and indicate you dont have EE profile number to be able to submit application under this category. This is how everyone does it and its based on guidance from SINP so nothing wrong there.
Hope this helps!

Hey, thank you so much.

However, will this not be misrepresentation when you actually have EE profile number ? : "You can apply for OID and indicate you dont have EE profile number to be able to submit application under this category".

Do advise please, thank you !

Like I mentioned in my post, this is not misrepresentation at all. If you call SINP Office and tell them that you cannot submit OID because if you enter your EE profile number it automatically registers for SINP EE category, they would ask you to follow directions for setting the EE profile number field to No. Apparently, the system is designed such so that is the only method to submit under OID. I would tell you that your question is logical and all of OID applicant have certainly been through this hesitation at the time of submission, but this is how everyone should have submitted their application. All SINP OID candidates have successfully submitted and received their nomination as well as obtained their PR or pursuing one using this route. Please don't wait another moment contemplating whats right or wrong, Go ahead and get your application ready as the streams open any date/time and you have to be ready as they don't stay open for more than couple of hours. Good luck and happy to answer further questions.

Got that, thanks. Need some more clarifications:
  1. So I should have 2 SINP OASIS accounts, right ? (one with the SINP EE application and the other with SINP OID application, ready for submitting basis which one opens first)
  2. Can both these SINP OASIS accounts be opened with the same email ID or should I use different ones for having two accounts?
  3. Incase SINP OID opens first and I apply for that, I leave my Federal Express Entry Profile active as is and delete the un-submitted SINP EE application, right ?
  4. When the SINP EE subsequently opens I do not apply as my application is already in SINP OID, right ?
  5. Is there a benefit in waiting for SINP EE to open (and ignore SINP OID) as I hear that the SINP OID process takes longer ?
Kindly clarify, thanks for all the support !

Got that, thanks. Need some more clarifications:
  1. So I should have 2 SINP OASIS accounts, right ? (one with the SINP EE application and the other with SINP OID application, ready for submitting basis which one opens first) Correct
  2. Can both these SINP OASIS accounts be opened with the same email ID or should I use different ones for having two accounts? You could have the same email, but I would recommend separate to avoid any confusion.
  3. Incase SINP OID opens first and I apply for that, I leave my Federal Express Entry Profile active as is and delete the un-submitted SINP EE application, right ? In case you apply for OID, you dont have to "unsubmitt" SINP EE applicantion as you can always apply under that catergory if it opens up. It is important to know that if you get nomination under OID, it will be a paper based application to CIC which takes 16 months compared to EE nomination under which you qualify for Express entry (under 6 months)
  4. When the SINP EE subsequently opens I do not apply as my application is already in SINP OID, right ? you can have both OID and SINP EE applications since it expresses your interest in that one province. See #3. But do not ever apply to another provincial nominee stream as it would conflict with your intent to reside in nominating province. This is the scenario that causes issue where applicants apply to different province.
  5. Is there a benefit in waiting for SINP EE to open (and ignore SINP OID) as I hear that the SINP OID process takes longer ? See #3
Kindly clarify, thanks for all the support !
