Processing times mentioned on the IRCC website are only estimates. Actual processing can take much longer.

Have you tried linking your application to your online account (if you applied by paper)? That would give you more updates

I've only applied online for a temporary student visa.
Waiting too much really bugs me.

Unfortunately, there's nothing else you can do but to wait for a decision

today, in the 11th week of applying for student visa, I receive passport request from CIC.
processing tool time: 2 weeks
Real processing time: 11 weeks
date of applying online: 17.Sept.2017
Biometrics: 27.Sept.2017
passport request: 27.Nov.2017

Hi, I am following this thread. My situation is pretty similar but for my spouse. I work in USA and my spouse is active in army back home. I have got ITA and while filling for PR I have to mention my husbands personal history and military experience. Should I enter all the locations he has been posted? Since, he is active, he is not planning to accompany me. I file my PR as single applicant but still need to provide Husband's information.
