I applied for my study permit during mid may, it is almost gonna be two months and I have had no update what so ever . I applied online and hence my passport is still with me . Does any one know who I can contact ? I have already emailed the high commission several times but have received no answer . Any help would be appreciated. (Applied from India )

Hi,
Student312, that's the case with me. I'm applying from South Africa though, applied online on the 22nd of May and up to the moment you're reading this, I've heard nothing from the cic. I went for upfront medicals just to get it ready in case they ask for it at some point but cic have said nothing at all yet. Please let me know if you have any updates, namaste!

Check processing time and wait, but let me tell you this, the processing times shown on the website is nothing but cr@ap.

I got accepted while they still working on apps received before my application. Other guy got accepted after 2 weeks from submission while it takes more than a month for the processing time.

You just need to wait, as long as you receive Emails that goes like ( Your application has been updated ) you should be fine.

Last year it took me 3 months and half to receive a study permit.

Goodluck

Same here applied on the 6th of June upfront medicals and still waiting not a single update has been given. So frustrating feel like giving up and doing something else.
