I filed in 2011 to the Buffalo Office, and so far, this is all I see...

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 12, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 16, 2011 to 6102,...Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us."

Could someone please tell me what's going on. Is this typical? It seems like they might have forgotten about me.

What were you doing from June 2011 to June 2013 ?

You should have immediately sent them emails/letters within 2-3 months of "We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 16, 2011" & informed that you did not receive the mail. I think your mail got lost in transit.

Please note that if CIC does not see any response from your side, they will close your file & ask you to re-apply from the beginning. So, from your own urge, you should contact them asking for what they now require.
