Delayed entry to Canada

I already received a Canadian Student visa when I previously applied (May 2019). However, I didn't go there due to some personal problems. I decided to go for this winter semester in a different post secondary school. My question was, can I still go to Canada with my current study permit? Will I face any obstacles for delaying my entry to Canada or applying for a different University? My application letter says that I have to enter Canada by August 2020. Can anyone please help me out on this one? I really need some information. What should I do next?

If you notified CIC of your change of school here
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools/account.html

Then you don't any issues, you will have to extend your study permit once you reach canada, if your existing permit does not cover the duration of your course. You will not face any obstacles, as long as you notified CIC.

Thank you so much for the response. I will notify CIC before entering to Canada and show the new LOA as a proof. Hopefully everything will work out well.
