Delay in Visitor Visa for spouse

Hi

When I am preparing to travel to Canada on work permit I have applied visitor visa for my wife also. Since my company not agreed to apply together I have to submit her application separately. Unfortunately her application was rejected on the reasons like financial support and travel. We did everything as guided by a consultancy.

So we thought that could be due to her application was sent separately and decided to apply after I arrive in Canada. As soon as I arrive in Canada we submitted her application online. This time we had shown sufficient funds in her account. Since I am already here on temporary work permit (valid for 6 months) they should be okay with her travel plan.

We have applied online on 4th Feb 2016. After 2 weeks we got email to submit additional documents. We have submitted them online in 4 days. After that we didn't get any response from them. It's almost 2 months now after submitting application.

Some people say apply again and directly at VFS center and some people say wait for the response from CIC about online application.

We are really confused. Please advise.

You can not apply again once already applied no matter if it was online or physically at VFS. sometime a profilegot cancelled if it is more than 45 days of application. You can make a specific case enquiry which will take 28 days to get response. you can also apply for your GCMS notes at www.gcmsnotes.ca[/b]]www.gcmsnotes.ca to get internal notes on your visa application.
