Hi, so my wife put a group application for temp visitor visa from India including hers and our kids - daughter aged 20 and son, aged 14. We have had previous Temp visas as well. On payment of dues, she and my daughter got their letters for biometrics in 3-4 days (although separately). I raised a webform request on IRCC and in 2 days time got a collection letter asking that biometric fees needs to be paid for my son as well (not sure why was it not calculated initially). I paid that fee and uploaded the receipt both on IRCC portal and then later attached it a webform query as well. I just have a auto reply or a reply saying we are in receipt. This was 27 Sep, and its been 10 days. In the interim, considering the 30 day timeline, We have taken appointments at VFS for biometrics for my wife and daughter. Is this normal or should I raise like a webquery (for which we do not get status) every 2-3 days. What can be done to expedite. Now anyway my son will go to VFS alone, assuming they would allow my wife or me to go with him. Thanks much.
