I hope you're doing well and safe during these times. I'm Tresa Samuel from India who got the LOA from Centennial college for a one-year post-graduate certificate program in Supply chain management and I have submitted my study permit application online for this September 2020 intake, and I am yet to submit my biometrics as Visa Application center's are yet to be open in my home country.
Centennial college is planning to offer the class online which I am not preferring it as I am looking out for an international classroom exposure and I am planning to defer my intake. But unfortunately, the intakes for the program is limited only to fall, which means I need to wait for another one year to pursue this program.
It would a great help if you could help me get some insights regarding the following queries,
1. If my study permit get approved for this September 2020 intake, will that study permit be valid for the next year intake or should I apply for a new study permit
2. If that's valid, how can I inform the immigration team regarding my deferment and the next date of arrival in Canada?
