Declaring stock certificates during landing

We are supposed to declare any cash, stock certificates, etc. worth > $10,000 CAD when landing (if you have them with you physically). Does anyone know if I should be including the actual stock certificate on my Accompanying Goods list (BSF186), or if there is a different way to declare cash, stocks, etc.?
