Hi everyone,

I'd like to know if I need to declare the funds that I am carrying as part of my PR. Do I need to fill the form for declaring?

I have a bank draft for about 16 k in my name as my funds.

Kindly advise. Thanks

Upon landing, you need to tell the first immigration officer of any liquid financial assets above $10,000, including, cash, banker's cheques, jewellery, traveller's cheque.

Whatever amount you mentioned in your PR application, you will need to prove that you have the amount upon your landing. This can be shown via Cash, most recent bank statement, traveller's cheque or banker's cheque or funds in a bank account in Canada.
