Declaration of non accompanying parent..

Hello Everyone,

May I please ask an opinion nor experiences regarding my wife's son whom we wanted to come and join with my sponsorship application. Is there any way to skip the declaration coz we couldn't locate the biological father of the child. thank you for your advance reply..

BTW... my wife went to court and she got good result only that the court she filed is only changing the name of the child to her surname. I dont know if we can use this as a custody order or this is only for changing his last name..

Hi

Changing the child's name is not a custody order. If the fatehr cannot be found to give permission, she will need to get a full custody order from the courts to bring the child.
