I am a single mom of one. I got pregnant when I was 21 years old. 2 months after delivery, we decided to end the relationship. We never planned to get married, so we move on. Years passed by, I decided to apply as a caregiver in Canada. Last year after 6 years of no communication from the father of my baby, his girlfriend contacted me & asked if possible that he could see my daughter & I agree. I even gave him money. So when my requirements arrived for processing my pr, I know I have to gather everything, & one of those is the declaration from non-accompanying parent for minors immigrating to Canada- that's the form. Now he recently acting so weird, like bringing up everything in the past and refusing to sign the document. What will I do?, any legal advice?, or should I talk to CIC & seek for advice?, anyone?, any response is highly appreciated, thanks

CIC won't be able to assist you to resolve this issue. What you need to do is either convince him to sign the document - or to go to court and obtain paperwork that states you have sole custody of your child. Good luck.
