I am the principle applicant - my sponsor is now waiting for me in Canada with my two children. It was decision made around 05th of May and I am yet to receive anything in the post. I called CIC and they refused to even help me as my application is being processed in Ottawa and they say the processing time maximum is 16 months. I submitted my application in June 2014. It has now been 12 months since that time and over two months since the status changed. Is there anywhere I can go and talk to someone about this? I live in London. Would the London office be able to help me if I go there? Would the Canadian embassy be able to help me? A friend of mine went through the same process as me submitting his application at the same time and he has is PR Card and is now working. I’m in a bit of a pickle as I just want to get out and see my wife and children. ? What are you views please?
