Hi all,

I in Toronto at the minute with my (Canadian) wife and daughter.

I've just checked on ecas.

The London (England) Office started processing my Permanent Residence application on March 2nd and it has just shown up as 'Medical Results Received - Decision Made'.

Just over two months - seems very fast to me.

But, they don't tell you what the 'Decision' actually is on the website.

Does anyone know if that is likely to mean everything is okay or should I take nothing for granted???

I'll probably have to fly back to the UK shortly in any case???

Thanks for any feedback.

Patrick

They never indicate what the decision is on eCAS. That is a fast timeline, but London does process some cases that quickly. Don't assume anything, but you can be pretty certain that most fast decisions are not refusals . . . refusals need to be carefully documented so a delay in processing is usually more indicative of a refusal than a quick decision. Also, most spousal applicants are refused either over criminal conviction or (more commonly) doubts about the genuine nature of the relationship. If they did not request an interview, chances are good that they believe the relationship to be genuine. You should be receiving a decision letter within a couple of weeks. Be sure to keep us posted.
