it has been a few weeks now , and I have not heard anything as of yet , and am on pins and needles to see …

If this is an outland application, and provided you have NOT moved at all since you began the process, you can expect to get your COPR in a week or so. If you don't hear anything within 4 weeks of seeing the DM, then contact CPP-O and do a case specific enquiry. That has worked for a few people here recently who waited a few weeks or months with no news.
