Hi, i have applied for PR under family sponsorship (spousal) as a offshore applicant.
I have just received notifcation that a decision had been made. I have also received an email asking for a photocopy of my passport (photo page) and the aforementioned letter with some biometric info and also 2 passport photos.
I need to submit these to the sydney processing office.
Can anyone tell me whether i can send all these info electronically (via email). Or does it have to be hard copy?

If they asked for 2 photos, then you have to send them hard copy biometric pictures. They require them either for the permanent resident card or for the passport etc. Standard operation procedure. Sending a picture online would be too easy, and too insecure. There is no way of verifying that you are the person on the pictures you sent online, which is why the photographer has to put a stamp and date on the back of the hard copy pictures. Can't do that digitally.
