Decision made on sponsorship or PR application?

Hi all.. I am new here.. My husband is Canadian and he is sponsoring me now.

We just found out that there's a new status "Decision Made" under the title of sponsorship application, like this:

Sponsorship Application Status
Decision Made
1.We received your application to sponsor ... on February 23, 2016
2. We sent your correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application on March 22, 2016
3. We started processing your application on March 21, 2016

PR Application Status
In process
1. We received ... application for PR on Feb 23, 2016
2. We started processing ... application on April 5, 2016
3. Medical results have been received.

Actually my husband already got the approval to sponsor me about 5 months ago (by email), and currently we already sent additional documents required by CIC 2 times in May and July.

I am just hoping that the DM status under the sponsorship application is actually for my PR application .. Any ideas?

I think they recently updated the servers to reflect the current status of SA.

PR has a different DM. I received DM and it updated on the PA side.

it's a global system update. however "fix" would be more accurate because this is how it should've worked in the first place.

spousal sponsorship applications are comprised of two parts: 1) an application to sponsor a family member and 2) an application for permanent residency. the VO processes them in sequence by first making a decision on whether the sponsor is eligible, and if found eligible, they will then move on to processing the sponsored person's application for permanent residency.

so in other words, you're not done until they make a decision for both the sponsor and the applicant.

Our application is similar. I am a Canadian PR sponsoring my husband from UK. CIC started processing our application November 2015. I recieved a notification Decision Made on August 15/2016 stating that I am elligible to sponsor him and my online status read DM. They then sent the same notification to my husband. He already has his temporary residence and OWP

They then requested he send a for police clearance from UK, they sent the hard copy to our UK address but not sure if the results are sent direct to CIC - and also that he attend for a medical, he did that beginning of September 2016 His application reads 'In Process, Medical Received.

We paid for the PR application upfront. Just wondering how long it will take now? And because he has been in Canada as a TResident for a few months if they will want an OPP CRC.

same as mine. On september 07, 2016 I got Decision Made on Sponsorship Application Status box but for PR status is saying application received.

Hi does anyone know why i can't use my sponsor info to check application status? Only my info show up something , they can't find it with my sponsor info . Thanks so much , sow worried
