Hi experts - I am a december 2013 applicant and received my AOR on 31st Jan 2014. I sent my and my spouse's original PCC on 1st week of march. I requested a GCMS note yeterday night to check if my PCC has been attached to my file and the status of my file. I got a response today morning that they were unable to locate my record. Can anyone please tell me if that happened to anyone before? I am bit worried !!

Haven't heard of a case like that before.
Check that the application/file number was correct, that the location of the file was set to 'ottawa' and
all other parameters.

Hello tunaibasu,
I would like to say, you should email CIC, I sent PCC from country included other county, and after I track they received, I email them, nd confirm my PCC. Also in GCMS there income and outcome, they put also

You should email them, or track with canadapost.

Thank you

Why is there a discrepancy between the addresses??
If the T4 is issued on a previous address that should be fine, if it's a totally different
address, I would attach a letter and explain why.

I would say there is no need to attach any letter. He already mentioned previous resident address in Schedule A form + it has name on T4 + NOA to confirm salary on T4. :)

I have same issue that I changed my residence and I have 2 T4's with 2 different address.

That's exactly why I said;

But if it's a totally different address, then attach a letter.

Yea it is one of my old address in same city. So i dont need to change the adress and can send it as it is.

Yes, that's alright. If it's one of your previous addresses, then you're fine.

Hi guys,

I need some advice/suggestions: I got laid off yesterday, should I inform CIC now or after getting a new job which could take a month or two?

The work experience letter that I had submitted with my application was from my now ex-supervisor. So I'm also worried that he will not co-operate with regards to confirming my work experience in case CIC called him :( However, I did manage to get an updated work experience letter and a neutral reference letter. Should I send these to CIC to include in my application?

I had received my AOR on Jan. 31, 2014.

Thanks in advance

Don't worry about getting laid off. You can email CIC and inform them about the change in your employment situation now
and whenever you get a job, you can email them again.
If your initial reference letter included all information asked for in the document checklist, then you don't have to submit
a new document.
