Looking for some advice as to whether we will be eligible for Canadian citizenship according to the tools we should be but the confusion arises from my mothers canadaian father being killed shortly before her birth. He was Canadian born and serving in the CAF in ww11 when he was killed in duty a few months before her birth. He is named as her father on her birth certificate but she was born in England and I do not believe her birth was ever registered in Canada though the remaining family there were aware of her and she visited. She was born in July 1945 and he died in March 1945. Will she still be eligible for citizen ship and will we as her children being born in the 80s also qualify by way of Canadian grandparent.
Any help appreciated. many thanks
