Dear,I got my 1st AOR yesterday and now am planning to send my full documents within few days.I have applied before 26thJune10 changes, under Noc 0111.

Please give me your kind assistance on below queries please :

I have applied as Single and just married on 1st of this month,as it was so simple marriage(court marriage and few photographs) because my father was passed away last month after finalizing the date of my marriage.

Now, my question is,will VO be satisfied with marriage certificate or he can question/demand more proof ?

Secondly, my consultant told me to send only notarized copied of educational docs. and no need to send University Sealed Transcripts as my VO is NEW DELHI and notarized copies will suffice..what is your opinion sir..

Finally, please guide me, Should I need to change my wife's passport status like my name on husband's coloum in her passport.

Please assist.

I understand that Qorax has discountinued hos account. Let me try to help you

1. VO is only concerned with Registerd Marriage certificate, no photo etc

2. University sealed transcript is must...should be followed. In case your university do not issue then get this in writing and forward to VO.

I shall forward you one reply I remmember I read from VO , was posted on this forum by one member

My friend you should have 120 days now to go and collect and submit the document, do not take any chance or depend too much on consultant. Do your own study of matter. The AOR is one of the life time acheivement. Most of the documents are available on CIC website

The sealed transcripts must originate from and bear the seal of the educational institution which originally issued the transcripts. If the college, affiliated with the university, is the original issuer of the transcripts, you may submit the transcripts sealed by the college. If not, then you must obtain sealed transcripts from the university.

Universities in India are familiar with our requirements and have not, to date, refused to issue sealed transcripts. If you are unable to obtain sealed transcripts, you may submit notarized transcripts however, they will be subject to close scrutiny and the visa officer may still require sealed transcripts.

>> Marriage certificate and photographs would be fine. At the most at a later stage you will be called for interview with your spouse and you can satisfy VO regarding your marriage. Can tell that you lost your father and the marriage was solominised without pomp and show.

>>>> Notarized copy of educational docs is all right. If you can manage to get academic transcripts in university sealed envelops that would be better. ND visa office do not insist on academic transcripts in sealed envelops. Very few applicants file the adacemic transcripts in sealed envelop. I would recommend you make efforts to file it.

Finally, please guide me, Should I need to change my wife's passport status like my name on husband's coloum in her passport.

>>> yes, get her name and your name in each others passports, that would help. It is short process and takes only 1 or 2 days.

Moreover, my wife has completed her studies(Bcom pass) from Delhi University,but through Correspondence,,will it be OK or I need to show her that,she attended some sort of classes ?

I have sent the reply of VO in my last post

Getting wife's name in passport and your name in wife's paasport in one day job at passport office. They have a misc service section. Please refer to passport office website. They have a defind procedure. You need your registered marriage certificate copy and (may be) your marriage photograph at passport office. In case your wife has changed surname then it is a different process

You may also get your PCC from passport office. One day job again.

I have no idea about your wife distance education marks etc. Please refer the OP6 manual given at CIC website.

It may take some time for you to read but it is a very clear manual, even consultant may not know beyond this.


You may also be required to write a letter to VO + CIO explaining that you recently got married and would like to include your wife name in the application. Once cleared you may be require to pay the wife fee ($550). Better you send a mail to Delhi VO and check the proper procedure for the above. Your wife back ground form etc may be also required
