Dear Mexicans,
With all due respect, I do understand some of you are trying to travel, live, work, have a better chance, etc. in Canada by applying for immigration programs or seeking asylum, the same as us.
Today I checked the IRB Canada Statistics website for half 2024 only at:
https://www.irb-cisr.gc.ca/en/statistics/protection/Pages/RPDStat2024.aspx
And I'm shocked at the number of claims that were abandoned (not proceeding with claims) from Mexico, which made it more burdensome for the IRB to finalize other countries' claims.
So please please, if you're not continuing with your refugee claim, request a claim withdrawal from the IRB so not to make it more burdensome than it already is.
