Kindly let me know my Mexican daughter who is 4 y.o. , born deaf. I am living in UAE unfortunately, here we do not have deaf school and till now my daughter doesn’t utter a single word despite having cochlear implant and multiple speech therapies .How can I enroll my daughter in deaf school so that she gets equal opportunities in life as other kids.
Kindly assist (I have valid trv visa).
Thank You

Each province has a deaf school run by the government. They aren’t private schools. For example, in Ontario, your child needs to be a resident and enrolled with the local school board. The school and the board will decide if there is a transfer necessary to the deaf school. She has to be at least 5 years old.

So you can look if any Canadian schools for the deaf take international students. You apply for your daughter, pay the international fees, and then you need to find a Canadian guardian who will be responsible for your daughter. You don’t stay with her as you don’t have authorization to live in Canada. You may visit But not live in Canada.
