Days accumulated before receiving my PR

I am currently a Permanent Resident since 2013. Before getting my PR, I have accumulated around one year of intermittent residency in Canada during 2011 - 2013 while coming for visits. I expect to have 3 years in the second quarter of 2019. Under the revised law to be in effect soon, can I account for half of those days towards my residency requirement of three years required for citizenship application in due course. Or those days should be accumulated within a five year period from the date of applying for citizenship.

Appreciate clarification on this issue.

Thank you,

This question should really have been posted in the citizenship section .

However the answer to your question is that when C6 is implemented you could claim physical residence days post PR and pre PR (half day for each full day to max 1 year) in the 5 years previous to the date of your citizenship application. So in your case any pre PR 2011/12 days would be out of range and days in 2013 start to fade away during 2018.
