Date Qualified without Degree

Hi All,

I am applying under NOC code 0211 (engineering Manager) and it says that a degree is usually required.

However, my degree is unrelated to the job. I understand from reading other posts that this shouldn't be an issue but it asks when i became qualified.

I worked for 5 years in the engineering department before I had this job but I am only claiming the past 3 years in this job because I don't need any extra points and didn't want to bother with the extra paperwork to prove it.

So my question is - what date should i put that i became qualified and will it raise any eyebrows that the only experience I am mentioning is 3 years as an engineering manager without a degree and no prior experience mentioned?

The other thing is that it states extensive experience is required under the job criteria. I dont know how i demonstrate that or what they classify as 'extensive'...

i have selected a managerial occupation and put the date I became a manager. I started at a junior level and worked my way up to becoming a manager.

I am applying for NOC 0621. The NOC description states that "A university degree or college diploma in business administration or other field related to the product or service being sold may be required." Is a college course in business administration mandatory for 0621 or on the basis of similarly stated requirements?

I took Accounting and Intro. to Bus. courses in college while I was working in NOC 0621 and prior to this, I only took an Accounting course in high school, would these suffice to satisfy the requirement? FYI, I earned the work experience while I studying towards my first degree.

May I ask if the date you 'became a Manager' was prior to starting your studies towards your first degree, and for the NOC you put as your primary, a degree or a high school completion was the 'requirement'?
