Hi,

I have one question as per CIC requirement they require original references
letter from previous employer. I have but only one copy.

so should I request my previous employer to issue me new reference
letter if yes then what will be the date of issuing and signing on reference
letter.

and it should also specify that I did six month part time and 1 year
full time

Dear Rehaan,

I submitted my previous and current reference letter in original in jan 2010. after these months today they have issued a letter to me that I submitted fraudulent experience letter where my every document is genuine. How they inquire? only they knows. I work in a bank and it is very easy to figure me out. I also submitted business card of my department head and as usual his contact number is there. they didnt call him and issued such a letter without proper inquiry and refused me.

this is very shocking and at least we dont expect such assessment from them. this immigration officer has ruined my life with a wrong guess.

so, you can submit original docs, but what will happen to u? depends on the mood of the visa officer.

this was my practical experience. i may be wrong but hope u can understand me.

If u are unable to provide any past employers reference letter or u have misplaced ur any past employment contracts u need to write a covering letter to the Visa Officer in a very appealing way so as to convince him of the same. I had just not send across my latest ref letter since I work for a Govt establishment and did not wished to ask them abt ref letter or reveal my plans to immigrate. The V.O in my case was convinced with my covering letter and maybe thru any source he must have cross checked.
