Hi all,
There's a question in express entry profile that ask for the "date you first became qualified to practice your occupation
If you are listing a skilled trade (jobs with a four-digit NOC code that begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92) as your primary occupation:This is the date when you first became qualified to practice on your own in that trade (for example, when you moved from apprentice to fully qualified tradesperson)."
This is so confusing...I've been working in that role for 3 years and 5 months and I'm from Italy and there was not passage from apprenticeship to qualified tradesperson.
- Is it the date I started working?
- or is it the 3 years mark from when I started working as I've heard from a couple people?
In the second case...will they still count 3 years and 5 months as work experience toward meeting the Federal skilled trades 2 years requirement, or will they only count 5 months? (which would suck because I wouldn't qualify even if I actually have enough work experience)
This is pretty urgent, I hope someone can help me with their experience or knowledge on the matter.
Thanks,
