Date of marriage.

Hey guys, I came across a question asking for "Provide the date on which you were married or entered into the common-law relationship"

I got married in India and the marriage certificate has two dates,
marriage has been solemnized
and the registration date.

What date are we supposed to use in this case?

Date of marriage has been solemnized
Also ensure marriage certificate also has the correct date of marriage that has been solemnized

NOTE: the registration date can be same as on date of marriage or later date w.r.t opening of the registrar office
