Hi Seniors,
We (Myself and My wife) have the date of birth proof as 10th passing certificate issued by CBSE. We do not have the proof from the M.C.D.
Can you please provide some suggestions on the Date of Birth proof requirement, when filing from India?

Birth Certificate(for primary applicant and spouse) is not part of document checklist anymore. But, in case if it is requested, you should be able to produce. Birth Certificate for children is mandatory though.

If we have birth certificate in a foreign language is a notarized english translation good enough or an affidavit is mandatory along with that.

I think in the documents list, DOB certificate is no more required for primary applicant and Spouse. However, it is mandatory for kids (If you have any).

But, to be on the safer side, try to get the DOB for yourself and spouse.
