Hey Gemini if you go on cic.gc.ca on the left where it says view status of file. With the client number on the letter they sent you from mississauga and ur last name and date of birth it says when they started processing ur file. Did you check already there?

Hey nagz ya I keep checking it on ecas but it still doesn't say anything I heard people say sometimes even after you get your passport request and all that they still don't change it.. Lol too lazy or maybe too busy? I'm thinking of calling them or is that a bad idea?

Gemini Since you selected Beirut as point of contact maybe you should e-mail them and they ll tell you if they started processing or not?? When i E-mailed them they replied right away and it wasn't an automatic response lol... and they said if i scan them anything missing they ll send it to damascus for me.. so you could try that !
