Currently working, my study permit will expire in 10 days, my work permit should be issued in 15

Hi

I graduated in June, applied for open work permit on June 11th, based on the CIC estimates my work permit should be issued by Sep 05, but my study permit will expire in 10 days (Sep 1). What should I do?

• apply for study permit extension
• contact CIC, explain my situation and ask for a rush processing of my applicaton
• stop working on Sep 1 until my work permit is issued
• continue working with the expired study permit for a few days and wait until the work permit is issued
• any other ideas?
