Hello,
I am a Chilean citizen working in Vancouver, British Columbia, sponsored with a Labour Market Opinion (LMO), when it was called LMO, not LMIA.
I have been working with this company for the last year and a half, and now the company might need to relocate me to Toronto, Ontario.

My questions are:
- How does the law change provincially in my case?
- Which would be the best ways for me to start working for them asap and at the same time start the paperwork for becoming a permanent resident?

Thank you, appreciate your responses.

1. Assuming you have a closed work permit with the condition " that you work for the above company in the above location i.e. BC. Then the company is going to have to get a new LMIA for Ontario and then you get a new work permit. It will take time.
2. You should check out Express Entry to see if you qualify. If your present job is skilled in NOC A, B or O, then you may be eligible for CEC in EE if you have worked continuously for a year. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp
