As I'm a fresh engineer and working at local company.
Is it advisable to show my current occupation as engineer?
or should I mention my occupation as student?
I heard that if I write employed (engineer) in occupation field, this will make my case complex and VO will ask why are you going there n why your company is not sponsoring you blah blah..

Kindly suggest me some proper way...
Thanks

I have worked as a project engineer for the past one year and I have shown my experience as project engineer in the form along with the experience letter. And I am pretty there was no problem regarding that (since I got my visa without any problem :D). In fact, VO always look for work experience in the field which are going for and since you are an engineering graduate, having an experience as an engineer should not be a problem. FYI, occupation in my passport was "Student" and I have mentioned about my job experience and there was no problem so I guess you shouldn't be having any problem too :)

Alright. Thanks man!

Well the letter which my company issued me states:

"Mr. Usama is working with us fulltime employee in the capacity of Software Engineer, since July 1, 2010.
This certificate is specifically issued for presentation to the Canadian embassy, Islamabad for the study VISA, in connection with his request."

Is this letter enough for serving as an experience letter?

Kindly guide me!!

First tell me whether you will be getting a leave from your job or you will be leaving the job before going to Canada??

I 'll leave my job right after getting VISA!!
Right now I'm working..

Should I get experience letter and leave my job right now??
Is this advisable?

Nop there is no rule for that. Just give the job letter (since you are not leaving the job yet so you will not be getting what is called "experience letter"). And yes in your case, the letter sample that you have posted is perfect.

Thank you so much man. You clear my huge confusion!
I'm going to apply in this week!! :)
Need your prayers!!
